Who will you be in 5 years?

For his 25th birthday in May 2020, Xavier Cousens invited his friends to participate in a video time capsule project.

The prompt was simple: create a video message to your future self.

These videos would be locked away, only to be unearthed five years later.

Now, in 2025, the project continues—with the same prompt and purpose.

Take a moment to reflect. Appreciate how much you’ve grown, or reckon with how far you’ve strayed. Either way, give yourself the chance to look back on your life.
